When appointing TRS as their tenant representative, TRS’ independence and seamless processes were the key drivers in Canaccord’s decision. Canaccord presented with a Stay vs Go project. They were looking to either upgrade their existing tenancy at 9 Castlereagh Street or move to new premises.

A driver for the decision to move was that they were in discussions to acquire a company where they would need the capability to expand (170sqm buffer) if the acquisition proceeded. TRS sourced premises that ensured that the buffer gave them flexibility to take additional space.

TRS’s professional respect with the landlord enabled them to undertake sensitive and confidential discussions in relation to the possibility of securing additional space should the acquisition eventuate.

By moving to Level 63 of the MLC Building, a successful outcome was achieved. Canaccord were delighted with their new space and brand new fitout and furnishings which provided a front of house that represented the image of the company to its clients.
