Sparke Helmore

As their National Property Partner, Sparke Helmore again appointed TRS as their independent tenant advisor for their Brisbane office. This reinforced the long-term partnership developed between the two companies for sourcing and negotiating successful outcomes for Sparke Helmore’s future needs.

Complicating the decision, Sparke Helmore was to amalgamate with another legal firm located in the floor below their current premises. The ideal outcome was to rationalise the current overall total of three levels of office, to a smaller footprint but still achieve a productive work environment that was uniformed across all office levels.

TRS negotiated to release handback of one and half floors of Sparke Helmore’s tenancy, then merged with the other legal firm on the lower floor. A new fitout of this upper floor was conducted to tie this new refurbishment with that of the lower level.

TRS were able to leverage two lease scenarios to obtain a competitive lease over the remaining space, resulting a uniformly united office with significant savings.
